Partner Content Management System (CMS) Redesign
Partner CMS is the website editor tool under our enterprise umbrella. Our tool provides researchers the ability to create custom websites to recruit and engage with prospects and participants for their research studies.
Problem Statement
This tool was built using Drupal, without Design oversight or input. Over the years, our users expressed frustration with confusing workflows and customization limitations.
Inconsistent navigation and messaging
Difficult creation process
Overall complicated interface
Outdated design that does not align with our enterprise Design System
What I Did
Audited the existing tool and created a site map to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
Conducted discovery on competitor tools such as Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress to identify successful workflows and industry standards.
Created suggested both UX and UI improvements based on team, user, and stakeholder feedback while accounting for the technical limitations of Drupal.
Implemented updates so users are now able to create beautiful and successful websites for their research programs.
